You don't actually have to register with the website to get involved. If you just want to download music from the website, you can do so by simply clicking the download link. There's no need to register with the website to do so.

If you would like to get more involved in what's going on here there are increasing levels of access that you can obtain. You can get started by registering with the site and picking out a username and password. The registration process will ask for your email but it will not be shared with anyone and is only for providing you with feed back from the website (if you forget your password for example).

Once you have done that, there will be additional functions made available to you depending on the level of involvement you would be interested in partaking in. Get to know the existing contributors by posting on the forums about your musical or related interests or join an existing topic started by someone else. Once a rapport has been established, an administrator can grant you access to those additional functions depending upon who you would like to contribute.
